Cutters Juniors Announced in Under 18 QLD Emerging Origin Squad
QCCS Mackay Cutter’ Junior Representative players Baden Robinson and Xavier Kerrisk have both been named in the Under 18 Queensland Emerging Origin squad that has been announced today.
The Emerging Origin Program aims to help develop highly skilled rugby league players for Queensland representation. The 30 member squad will be managed by Guy Williams, a former Hostplus cup player and coach.
Our Head of Football Kim Williams is over joyed for the young players saying,
“This is a fantastic achievement by both players and one that they should be very proud of. Their performances throughout the Mal Meninga Cup competition this year were outstanding and they both thoroughly deserve their selection in the Origin squad. As a club we are extremely proud of their achievement.”
Following their selection, Baden and Xavier will attend the 2 day camp held down in Brisbane on the 7th & 8th of May.
