The Queensland Rugby League have officially released the season draws for all squads across the Statewide Competitions. With the Hostplus Cup being the first competition to be announced on Monday, the BMD Premiership, Mal Meninga Cup, Cyril Connell Cup and the Harvey Norman U19’s & 17’s followed. In 2025 the Mackay Cutters have been allocated 9 Hostplus Cup Home Games with the opening round clash being held at BB Print Stadium against the PNG Hunters on the 8th of March. While the BMD Premiership won’t begin until the 14th of June, aligning with the NRLW schedule, they will play alongside our Hostplus Cup squad for 4 home games next season with a stand alone game on the 30th/31st of August against the Western Clydesdales.
The Mal Meninga Cup, Cyril Connell Cup and the Harvey Norman U19’s & 17’s competitions begin on the 15th of February with the Mal Meninga Cup playing 9 rounds and the rest of the junior teams playing 6. all 4 Junior teams will have their own stand alone game day in the second round of their competitions in Mackay against the Townsville Blackhawks. The Mal Meninga Cup will have a second stand alone game on the 29th/30th of March against the Brisbane Tigers.
