With the support of Hastings Deering
The 'Cutters in the Community' program aims to:
• Educate key personnel.
• Promote Physical Activity as a means for healthy living.
• Engage the Mackay and surrounding district in community events.
The 'Cutters in the Community' program provides Coach Education to key stakeholders in the Mackay District Community. These Education seminars are conducted monthly, following the program listed below.
Session 1 February- Program Planning
Session 2 March- Specific Conditioning for Rugby League
Session 3 April- Coaching Methods
Session 4 May- Advanced Skills
Session 5 June- Analysing Performance
Session 6 July- Performance Essentials for Rugby League
Dates will be made available early in 2012 and all senior club, junior club, and school officials in the Mackay and surrounding district are invited to attend.
The Cutters in the Community program provides opportunity for young people to be involved in physical activity. At all Skills Training Mackay Cutters home games in 2012, players from Mackay Junior Rugby League will have the chance to play on the big stage.
As part of the halftime entertainment packages players from U/6 to U/8 will play across the field in a non-competitive game environment.
This program will be co-ordinated through the Mackay Junior Rugby League.
In our short history the Skills Training Mackay Cutters have been involved in many community events. As an organisation we pride ourselves on being able to support charitable organisations and the local community.
Again in 2012, where possible, the Cutters will throw their support behind community events through player/staff appearances and donations.
CARN' THE CUTTERS IN 2012!
